For various reasons we ended up with a bit of a tight deadline for this Maternity Photoshoot and when I say tight I mean just one available shooting date in February! So understandably I spent the 2 weeks before the shoot pleading with the weather to play nice. When the day finally arrived I was delighted to look out the window and be greeted by a bright, sunny, crisp winters day with only a gentle breeze blowing (remember this is Scotland in February people). As the day went on and I prepared to head out the weather settled on being overcast but bright, so basically perfect weather for a photoshoot. The three of us (including bump) ventured out for an hour to take some photographs and this mummy to be was a complete natural in front of the camera, handling direction really well and generally just being a dream to work with, but I would expect nothing less from a fellow photographer! And as if that wasn’t enough this talented lady is also an international award winning feature filmmaker, writer and visual artist, feel free to stop by her website and take a look www.minehorse.com.
